AR13 Section Report

I've been upgrading a project from VS2013 with AR7 to VS2019 with AR13. I got a few issues that become solved with latest AR13 releases, but now I'm having a strange behaviour that start when I detect a problem with chart subreport.
All my section reports that were converted to AR13 are working OK, except the ones that use a subreport with a chart on it.
All my section reports from my old project were created inside “app_code” folder and I keept them like that.
These are the issues that I’m detecting:
    1) When creating a subreport outside de “app_code” (named "secreport_inside_app_folder")
I can went to design mode but there are two code files:
The first one it's like a normal class and the second it's related to the report.
I don’t see this behaviour with the old section reports from AR7.
The section reports from AR7 (that are working ok) they just have on code file. There are just two extensions *.vb and *.resx

When moving this subreport to "app_code" folder, there is no change in the behavior I can still select the "design view" without problems.

    2) When creating the subreport inside “App_code”, the file by default has the “build action” as “content” and not “compile”. After change it to “compile” I get an error in “design view”

After calling the “design view” the section report is presented as a class

Could you please try after adding the following dll in your project:

Also, are you observing the above issue with subreport containing chart? or with all report?

    Hope it helps.

The Chart issue was related by a parameter that in AR7 was using a default value, with AR13 I just removed the default value and it's ok now.

The point 1) and 2) that I report are related to any kind of section report.
Fom this picture, "rep_bigc_qtot_chart_sub" it's a section report created by AR7 and converted to AR13, "rep_bigc_qtot_chart2_sub" was created with AR13.

The section reports "rep_bigc_qtot_chart2_sub" it's accessible in design view:

All my code it's inside "rep_bigc_qtot_chart2_sub.Designer.vb" and at the end the section report works.

When I try to add a new SectionReport in App_Code folder, it will show only .vb File. Also, on upgrading any previous report to AR13, it shows only .vb file (not .desginer.vb file). when I right-click on the report to view designer, it opens the designer correctly. Also, it is not recommended to use report file outside the "App_Code".

Also, I am not able to replicate the design view error at my end.

Could you please confirm if I am missing something at my end or share the stripped down report with us.

Like I said, no problems with upgrades from AR7 to AR13. The problem is when I add a new section report inside "App_code". Check this small video.

We are looking into this and will get back to you as soon as its done.
Meanwhile, please refer the topic "Reports are not associated with the designer in Visual Studio when adding ActiveReports to a TFS-bound project" at the following documentation link:

Let us know in case this helps.

I have checked with AR 13 Sp2 with Visual studio 16.2 version and I am not able to replicate the issue at my end. Please refer to the attached video.
Could you please share some information if I am missing something at my end.
