    Good Afternoon,

    I was wondering whether it is in the pipeline to have folder structures of reports within the we designer?

    Thanks

    Hello Kevin,

    Good Morning,

    Sorry to mention that I don’t understand your query. Could you please explain in the detail. Also, you are retrieving the report from the database so where do you want to have folder structure in Web Designer.

    Thanks,

    Mohit

    Hi Mohit,

    Sorry yes we do currently store our reports in a database. However our applications are deployed in Azure and we are looking at moving to Azure File Storage. Our reports are categorised by area, and we have nearly 500 of them.

    If I use the File View in the Webdesigner, I am just presented with a long list of reports. I am asking whether it is in the pipeline to be able to either categorise them, or to support folder structure. So there is top level folders, that can contain more folders or reports.

    Thanks

    Kev

    Hello,

    You can use the following hotfix to achieve your requirement:

    http://cdn.grapecity.com/ActiveReports/AR13/hotfixes/ActiveReports-v13.2.18631.0.msi

    Please use the following line of code to access child directory:

    ```
    app.UseDesigner(config => config.UseFileStore(ResourcesRootDirectory, false));
    Make sure, your child directory should have rdlx in it.
    Thanks,
    Mohit
