Discrepancies Between jsViewer Report and Generated PDF

There are some styling discrepancies between the report displayed on the jsViewer and the PDF version of the report (clicking “Print” or exporting to PDF).

    Here is an example:

The report header on the left is in the jsViewer, and the header on the right is from the PDF being viewed in Chrome.

The main difference in this example is the grey background not extending as far as it should, but there are other slight differences with spacing and font boldness.

Are any of these discrepancies going to be addressed in Active Reports 13 Service Pack 1?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I am able to replicate the issue with the AR13 SP1 internal branch also. Hence, I have escalated the issue to our development team(272103) and will inform you once I get any information from them.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Is there any update on this? I see that you included a ticket number in your response. Is there a way for me to monitor the progress on it or is that just an internal ticket number?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I have asked the update from the development team. Yes, it is for internal purpose only.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

As per reply from the dev team, they do not have plans to make JSViewer output identical to WinViewer. However, this task is under consideration for the next major version.

    Thanks.
