I am concerned about having the connection string properties in RDLX files with customers using the End User Report Designer. I looked at this article:
https://www.grapecity.com/forums/ar-dev/prevent-access-to-oracle-d
It is a good way for hiding the connection string in the report designer, but it is still stored in the RDLX file. Is there a way to store it encrypted in the RDLX file?
We do not use a Report Server so the Shared Data Sources are not an option for us. We are using AR12, but could upgrade to AR14 if needed.
