This is for an Active Reports 10 Section Report.

I have a report that prints out about 50 or more values per record. However, an entire section of these values need to be hidden for some record. In this case “section” means an area on the page, not a “section report”

    Two questions:

    1. Is there a way to show/hide all of these controls, maybe 20 of them in one operation rather than doing each individually.

    2. I can set the controls to shrink so they will not “take up height” when hidden, but there is white space above and below the controls, this continues to be “used” even when the controls are hidden. Is there a way to collapse that white space too.

In a form, I would group all of these controls together in a panel or other container control and then I could hide them as a group and change the height of the entire group. I don’t see how to do that in AR.

    thanks.

    Hello,

You can put all the control in the separate report that you want to hide. After, you can use the SubReport control to show the above created report in your main report. After that, you can hide the subreport control, it will solve both the issues. Please refer to the following link:

    Thanks,
