[activereports_archive]Is it possible to have a right Y Axis on the charting control? How about multiple left and/or right?[/activereports_archive]

    [activereports_archive]Matthew,

I would suggest you to set the visible property for AxisY2 to True. Also, you will need to set the Min and Max values, Position and LabelsVisible property for this Axes to get the desired results. I have attached a sample RPX file demonstrating this. Please load it in the designer and check the results.

    [activereports_archive]Sanklap,

Actually I was using Page Reports (sorry for not clarifying). The issue I see is that there is all kinds of capability for charting in the Section Reports, but most of that capability is missing in the Page Reports. For instance, through some maneuvering I can get the chart on PageReport to be a CandleStick chart, but there does not seem to be anyway to control (or actually get them to plot). You just dont get access to all the properties like you do the section reports… Unless I am missing something. The one (pretty pitiful in my opinion) example that is given for page reports in the walk through is for a bar chart, and hardly covers much of anything. Is there more documentation on how to actually use the page report charts somewhere?[/activereports_archive]

    [activereports_archive]Matthew,

I would suggest you to kindly go through this forum post which should provide you some ideas on how to go about getting the multiple axes functionality with the Page Based reports. The forum post is for Data Dynamics Reports but is applicable for Page Based report’s chart control as well.

[activereports_archive]I am very interested in that Forum post, but the link is dead. I need to add a second Y-axis to a Page Based bar chart and plot a value as a line in relation to that second Y-axis. Right now I can accomplish the line chart, but it’s using the Y-axis on the left and I can find no way to separate it.[/activereports_archive]

    [activereports_archive]Alex,

The link which I referred to in my last post is this:

Please try the alternative suggested in this post and see if it helps.

    Mohit,

Thanks for the reply. Your example has two static Y axis.

What I pretend is multiple axis dynamically where, upfront, I don’t know how many Y axis i will have.
