    Hi,

    I am using v10.1 and I was wondering if the following error could occur in any other circumstances than the obvious one.
    "Printer does not support Letter papersize. Please use PaperKind.Custom in your PageSettings or specify a papersize supported by the current printer"

    A client of mine got this error and I can't get why a printer would not support letter papersize.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    You need to set the PaperKind to Custom and also give any unique string to PaperName e.g.

    this.PageSettings.PaperKind = System.Drawing.Printing.PaperKind.Custom;
    this.PageSettings.PaperName = "My Paper";

    You can also set the PrinterName to an empty string to allow all paper sizes.
    rpt.Document.Printer.PrinterName = “”
    Thanks,

    Hi,

    What error is thrown when a user doesn't have the permission to print on his or her default printer?
    Is it the same as when the printer can't print the desired paper size?

    Thanks,
    Marianne

    Hello,

    For users with no permission might get similar error message saying "Failed to add a custom paper size ....". For your issue adding the permission and setting the rpt.Document.Printer.PrinterName = “” just before calling .Run() on your report should work.
