I need to generate a bar code 128 on a 3-inch paper (epson tm t20ii printer).

When the code is short you can read it well, but the problem I have is that if I print a long code

As of about 29 characters, the printing of the code is illegible, apparently the code bars are spliced and illegible.

How can I solve this so that the bars do not fit into a 3-inch-wide paper?

    Hello,

Could you please share the barcode size on the 3- inch wide paper. I have tested with an approx 2-inch wide barcode with 29 letters and no issue is observed. Also, are you using the Section or Page/Rdl report?

    Thanks.

    Good day.

I attach a document in Word.

On page 1 is an image of the document with the bar code printed on the 3-inch roll (the print was scanned and inserted as an image into Word).

On page 2 is the same barcode but printed with a laser printer on a letter-sized sheet (the print was scanned and inserted as an image to Word).

It can be seen that in the image on page 1 some bars are spliced and that is why the code can not be read.

I printed the Word document that I attach in this message and if I could read the code on page 2 (although it is a bit of a battle because it is an image stuck in Word and loses quality) and the code on page 1 can not be read.

Attached image with the report design (Section Report (Code Based)).

I have moved several parameters that are shown in the image as DPI, BarAdjust or Module Size and I can not print the 3-inch roll code correctly.

I have tried with code Code_128_A and Code_128auto but in both cases if I can read when I print on letter-sized sheet and when I print on 3-inch roll I can not read

The printer that I use in an epson tm t20ii.

    Please help.

    Hello,

Could you please recheck after setting “epson tm t20ii printer” as a default printer.

Please check the paper size in the Printer settings and see if it matched with roll size.

    Thanks.
