Rich Text Box No Bold

    The active reports rich text box control does not properly bold text when exported to PDF (or at all apparently). The designer clearly shows that the HTML is bold, but when exported to PDFit shows regular. I tried using RTF and HTML and they both produce the same result. I even modified the HTML to replace tags with tags and that failed as well. I also tried to change the CSS to in-line, that also failed.

    How do we get a Rich Text Box to export bolded text to a PDF?

    Can you try after adding the “” tag in the HTML content?

    Unfortunately, this does not work to bold the text either.

    This issue can be resolved by explicitly setting the font-family for the body. Apparently AR Professional can handle some unknown set of Fonts exporting to PDF, but Standard can only handle explicitly set fonts? See this thread:

    I simply set and it solved the issue.
