Using a .Net DLL inside ActiveReports Server

Hello. I am totally new to ActiveReports Server and I have been tasked to generate some reports in ARS. We have written a lot of stored procedures and RPX reports that we use in a .NET DLL. That DLL has public methods that get some parameters, call a SQL store procedure and with the resulting dataset fill a RPX report to get an Active Reports object we use in a viewer. What I want to be able to do, if it can be done, is reusing that DLL's code. So the question is: Can I call a public method from a .NET DLL in Active Reports Server in any way? Do you have some sample code for me to read and verify? As all those reports in my DLL are probed I would like to use as much of the code as I can.

    Thanks in advance.
    Regards.
    Ariel.

    Hi Ariel,

You can upload a .NET assembly to ActiveReportsServer, provided it contains at least one code-based section report. Please refer to the following documentation link for details :
    https://help.grapecity.com/activereports/webhelp/AR12Server/webframe.html#UsingCodeBasedSectionReports.html
Please read the section '.NET Assembly Requirements', carefully.

You can upload rpx reports as well on the server, however, all the code has to be self-contained within the rpx file. Kindly refer to the following documentation link for this -
