I am having problems exporting reports to excel (generates a corrupt file) and in some forums indicate that this is a problem in the exclexpt.dll library.

The links I find to download the latest version of the library do not work because they point to the datadynamics site that is offline.

Could you tell me where I can find it? Use VB6 + AR2

    Thanks!!

    Hi,

You may download the latest AR COM version using the following URL: http://cdn.grapecity.com/ActiveReports/legacy/ar2pro2501322.zip

What is involved in migrating exclept.dll dependent reports in AR11?

    Hello,

In my understanding, AR11 is not dependent on the “exclept.dll”. You can preview and export all types of the report without “exclept.dll”. Could you please explain the use of exclept.dll in your report?

    Thanks.

We have AR 2 reports in use and the migration to AR 11 has just begun, so we still need exclept.dll if users choose to export our the data over to excel, is this not true?

    Hello Jason,

If you are using AR11 and there is no third party control used in section report then I don’t think that you need “exclept.dll” to export the report into excel format. You can export the report without “exclept.dll” also.

    Thanks.
