  I have successfully installed VB 6 and AR2 on Win 10. I am opening a project that compiles fine on our old machine, but I am getting error “Can’t instantiate control. Control is not registered.” when I Make the project. The project opens without issues. Has anyone encountered and resolved this?

  Hi All,

  My question is a bit different now. I have rolled a Win XP 32-bit machine, hoping to eliminate this issue, but it did not. I don’t know which control isn’t registered! How can I find out what it wants?

  Hello,

  AR2 COM is a legacy product now. It is out of maintenance mode now. Hence, we do not provide support for the same or no bug fixing will be done in the same. I would recommend you use the latest version of ActiveReports i.e ActiveReports 14. Please refer to the following link for more information:
