  My client is finally upgrading (sort of) from XP to Windows 7 and VS2008 to VS2015. We have been using ActiveReports3 for close to 20 years. Is there a utility to convert the reports to the current version of ActiveReports? Or will have to rewrite everything?

  Thank you for your patronage to ActiveReports. Good news is that we do have a utility to convert the reports created in ActiveReports3, to the current version of ActiveReports i.e v11. The utility gets installed in VisualStudio under the Tools menu.   Since AR3 is an old product, there have been changes in the namespaces which you’ll have to do manually. Please see the following documentation link for information on the breaking changes: http://help.grapecity.com/activereports/webhelp/AR11/index.html#BreakingChanges.html
