License.licx not worked in windows service

  We have a active report 6 report file, we plan to copy this report to a windows service and generate report PDF in backend.

  After we copy report file to another windows service project, we add license.licx file and also license key in app.config. When print report PDF from window service, there are evaluation alert on generated report PDF.

  Is license used by website can be copied to a window service?

  Hello,

  You need to build the project on the licensed machine first. You can’t use copy the files to Windows service.

  Also, AR6 is very old version now, we do not support it. I suggest you to upgrade to our latest version i.e AR15.
