    Hi,

    I’m using Grapecity, of version v12.45.20191.0 in my product and found an issue while opening the attached excel.

    Steps to reproduce,

     Create an excel file, by applying the formula(=Row()) to a column.

     Load this file into a spread and make some changes and save.

     Reopen this file.

    Attached is the file to reproduce the issue.

    A quick reply is highly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Krishna.

    Hello Krishna,

    What is the issue you are observing re-opening the saved file? At our end, opening your file with Spread shows value for 2 rows only however, in excel it showed values for 7 rows.

    But when we try to replicate this with a new excel file consisting Row formulas, opening the same works perfectly using Spread. Even after modifying, saving and reopening it works properly.

    So it seems that the issue is perhaps related to that excel file. Could you try to replicate the same using a new excel file?

    Also, try using 12.45.20193.0 version of Spread.

    Thanks,

    Ruchir

    Thanks for the reply Ruchir.

    Yes, when we try to re-open the saved file the formulas are getting lost.

    Recently we updated Farpoint to version 12 and we are facing this issue.

    I have created an excel with formulas in 7 cells as in shared excel and tried to open this into our application using Farpoint. For the first time, it is opened as expected with formulas and after save and reopen I am facing this issue.

    For excel save we used below flags:

    result = SaveExcel(fileName, ExcelSaveFlags.UseOOXMLFormat | ExcelSaveFlags.PreferTextOnExport | ExcelSaveFlags.ComboAsDataValidation);

    Same way for opening the excel we used,

    OpenExcel(FileName, FarPoint.Excel.ExcelOpenFlags.DocumentCaching | FarPoint.Excel.ExcelOpenFlags.DoNotRecalculateAfterLoad | FarPoint.Excel.ExcelOpenFlags.DataAndFormulasOnly);

    Please suggest some fix for this.

    Thanks,

    Krishna.
