Posted 17 May 2021, 5:00 am ESTThe standard for capturing C1DateEdit is: I type month, day and year, the cursor automatically jumps to each section of the date without the need to type "/". That is fine, but it is disconcerting that at the end of the capture of the year, it jumps back to the beginning, https://prnt.sc/131n170 to the month, this can cause capture errors due to the tendency to continue capturing other data. Also if I want to "delete" the entire date by selecting it with the mouse, to recapture, it won't let me. Finally I can't find the way that if I put enter or tab, it jumps to the next field. Is there a way to control or change those behaviors, to make it more like the MS Access date control?
How to control cursor behavior in C1DateEdit

To stop this behavior, you need to set the LoopPostion property of the C1DateEdit to false.
>>Also if I want to "delete" the entire date by selecting it with the mouse, to recapture, it won't let me
You can set the EmptyAsNull property of the C1DateEdit to allow the empty string.
>> I can't find the way that if I put enter or tab, it jumps to the next field.
You need to set the AcceptsTab property to false, to allow the Tab key to move the next control instead of moving between in different date sections.
If you need any other help, please let us know.
