    Hello,

How can I know the version of my license?

When I enter to my user zone I can get the serial key of “ComponentOne Studio - Enterprise Edition - Upgrade Version” but I don’t remember the version and I’ve losed the dvd.

I’d tried to download from http://download.componentone.com but there is a lot of versions.

    Hi,

To know the ComponentOne version, open any of machines that has ComponentOne installed and activated, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ComponentOne\C1StartMenu, run the C1LicenseDeActivation file and click the ? icon [next to the serial number field]. It should show the serial number of ComponentOne activated on the machine.

Alternatively, you may visit your Grapecity.com account and under ‘My Licenses’ select the ‘View My Licenses’ option. There under the ‘Licenses’ banner you should get the serial key purchased with that email address.

Should you need any help further, let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ruchir

    Hi,

As per the information available with us, you are using 2008v2 Studio Enterprise. So, you should use the following setup:

    http://download.componentone.com/pub/Net/c1studionet/Updates/C1StudioNET_T208_Setup.exe

    Thanks,

    Hi,

Thank you, I’d installed with my serial key.

But now I think that doesen’t work on Visual Studio Professional 2019 because it don´t show on toolbox automacly and if I force it by drag&drop the dll on toolbox, when I try to add column it apears a message like “The name can’t start with the character ‘1’”.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Installers as old as 2008v2 were not designed nor tested with Visual Studio 2019. So, issues like these can occur.

In order to use the latest versions of Visual Studio, you are suggested to use the latest version of ComponentOne as well, as these are compatible and tested with new Visual Studio versions.

    Thanks,

    Ruchir
