  I’m trying to serialize a contentControl (or any range) from one doc and (later) insert it into another document by construct a range from the earlier serialization string.

  What approach would you recommend for this (if I’m on the wrong track).

  Hello Mitch,

  There is no way to serialize the content of the GcWord now and use it in any other docx now.
  
  Can you please share your use- case with a demo word file explaining your requirements so that we can assist you further accordingly?
