  Hello,

  Are there any plans to include a context menu for FlexGrid cells? I would really like clean way for users to add cell comments.

  Hello,

  Thanks for the reply.

  This is the desired user experience would be:

  • User right-clicks a cell
  • A context menu pops up with ‘Manage Comments’.
  • When ‘Manage Comments’ is clicked, a popup is displayed to capture/display comments for that cell (OK/Cancel buttons)
  • When user clicks ‘OK’ the comments are saved to the database.

  Having some kind of indicator on the cell that tells the user comments exist.

  Could you please let us know if the comments are parts of the FlexGrid DataSource or they are fetched explicitly from a different database.

  Also, it would be great if you may provide detail on FlexGrid properties and comments properties.

  If the comments are allowed to specific cells/columns/rows or for the complete FlexGrid cells and how you would like to save them to the database.

  Please elaborate your requirement so that we may assist you accordingly.
