    Hello Thenndral,

Spread is a product for complete solution for Excel-like spreadsheet. Spread is offered in various editions like WinForms, WPF, JS etc and one can choose any based on the requirement.
Spread.NET refers to the spreadsheet components (and designers) to be used in WinForms, WPF, ASP.NET, Silverlight, WinRT environments. Whereas, Spread.COM is a spreadsheet component for use in Visual Studio 6.

As I see, you need to use WinForms framework in your development environment, so you should use Spread.NET.
Also, since you wish to use for .Net 2/3.5/4 with Visual Studio 10, I would recommend you to use Spread.NET 8.

No, it is not the latest version. The latest Spread.NET version is v13.
Spread.NET has evolved a lot from the its older versions, you can refer the following page for the purpose of breaking changes:

Also, to know about the latest features in Spread.NET, please find below the list of version-wise Spread features:

    Hi Ruchir,

Thanks for the link and it is useful for us to know about the version.
I already install the vs8.0 and testing with our software.

We would like to test latest version. Could you give me the download link for the latest version. I think to use the latest version of spread sheet, I need to install VS2015? (Expression edition will be ok).

    Thanks and best regards,

As per your guidance I install and testing.

I write the code as per in this example. but I cant find the "SearchWithDialog" member.
Can you help me what I miss? or any samples.

Note: Is it possible to use Spread8.0 and 13 in the same machine.

Yes, you can have Spread.NET v8 and v13 side-by-side. For details, please refer:

The SearchWithDialog method is available in both Spread WinForms versions: v8 and v13. I tested with a standard application and it is present.
For reference, you can find the 'Spread.Search' product application installed at C:\Program Files (x86)\GrapeCity\Spread.NET 13\Windows Forms\v13.45.20203.0\Samples\C#\Spread.Features.

If still you face the problem please share a stripped down application to show the issue.
