    Hello!

We are using 64 bit Spread 8 DLL component. The spread 8 DLL component appears to require Administrator privileges to work properly on Windows 10 (build 1709) machines. For non - admin users, the component does not load properly and the application crashes.

The spread component works fine on Windows 7 machines.

Is this expected behavior on Windows 10 ? Is there any work around or solution to this issue?

    Hello,

It looks like the default behavior of Windows 10 for COM dll.

You may try turning off the UAC.

    Thanks,

    Deepak Sharma
