    Hi,

    I am testing a trial version of GC.Spreadsheet. It runs fine publishing my web site to local server and accessing via localhost:XXXXX url, then I added a public url so my client can see the app running, but I am getting an error, like the grid is undefined, is any difference running these js scripts using local url and public url? thanks,

    Hi Fernando,

    You need a valid distribution key to deploy the SpreadJS application on a server other than the localhost.

    Once you have the distribution key, you need to add it in your application before instantiating the Spread instance like:

    GC.Spread.Sheets.LicenseKey = " [your Distribution license key here]";

    To test the deployment of SpreadJS application on an actual server, we have shared a testing key on our private support portal that you could use

    http://supportone.componentone.com/casedetail/404557

    You could log in to the above portal using the same credentials you used to login to our website.

    Regards

    Sharad

    Thanks! But I am getting a message “Invalid license key”.

    Hi,

    The issue might be because of the key used by you might be invalid for the version you are using.

    However, we have provided an appropriate trial key on the S1 Case:
