Hi,
Are the right click + paste options supposed to work when copy from an excel document to a spreadjs object? or do they work only when pasting from another spreadjs object?
Thanks!

Hi,
Right click + paste option is supposed to work only within the same spread object, it cannot be used for copying pasting the data from excel.
It is because due to the security reasons browsers do not allow web apps to read clipboard data until and unless the user explicitly invokes paste command (using ctrl+v shortcut).
Hope this clears, please let us know if you have any further confusion.

Hi,
Just to clarify, does this apply to multiple spread objects in the same page but different divs as well? see the video please https://www.screencast.com/t/1a6GAwCkrN
Is it expected the behavior of the video? is there any way to change it?
Thanks

Yes, Right click + copy/paste option is only supported within the same spread instance. If you want to enable copy/paste between the two different instances what you need to do is first remove the default copy/paste options from the context menu and add custom copy/paste context menu commands. Then on copy command get and save the values and styles of the selected cell in some global object or service and then on paste option copy values/styles from the global object into the spread.
