Spread 3.0 version support

    Hi,

    Is the support for Spread 3.0 version still available?
    If yes, what is the end date.

    Hi Soumya,

    Spread v3.0 is not supported anymore. I would suggest you to upgrade to our latest version of Spread in order to continue getting bug fixes, new features and product support.

    Hi Soumya,

    Spread 3 has never been tested against .NET 4.5 framework. I don't think it will work on the latest .NET frameworks.

    Hi Deepak,
    Our Web application uses Farpoint spread version 4.0.35 for .Net frame work 3.5.
    Now we are planning to upgrade .Net frame work to 4.7.1 version.
    Could you please confirm does spread 4.0.35 supports .Net latest version 4.7.1?

    Hi Lakshmi,

    Spread version 4.0.35 would not work with latest .NET Framework. I would suggest you to please upgrade to our latest version i.v. Spread .NET version 11.

    Hi,
    We have got the Spread .NET version 11 purchased with liscence.
    When tried to execute the EXE which is downloaded from your team,I am getting download failed.Please look attached screenshot and can you please help us on this.

    Hi Reeva,

    I can able to download the installer that was provided by your team.
    How ever when tried to install it,it is triggering below error.
    please see screenshot and let me know what needs to be done.
    And let me know if there are any pre requisites needed for executing EXE.

    Hello,

    First of all installing Spread using exe from downloaded package I provided above will always install the latest version in online mode( currently V12 is latest version).

    Please make sure you are connected to internet while installing in online mode.

    However, if you wish to install V11 then please try installing using msi from package you downloaded and it should get installed easily without any error. We have tested the same msi installer directly at our end and it worked well without any error.

    Hence, please try the same and share your observations.

    Hello,

    From the screenshots you have sent, it seems you need Spread.Net V12 version. Hence, please download the hotfix installer from this link and follow the steps below:-https://cdn.grapecity.com/SpreadNET/installer/12.0.20181.2/offlineDownload_Full.zip

    To install Spread.NET V12 to your computer, please follow these steps:-

    1. Unzip the above files to the following path (replace "[YOU]" with your Windows user login):
    C:\Users\[YOU]\AppData\Local\GcInstaller\Offline
    2. Run Spread.NET Installer.exe,
    3. Select "Options" (bottom left) to open the Options dialog,
    4. Select the "Mode" tab and change Install Mode to "Offline" then close the Options dialog.
    5. Select the Spread.NET 12 components and/or documentation to install, then click "Install."

    Please note you must also read and accept the End User License Agreement terms and conditions to proceed with installing (check box above "Exit" button).

    Please try installing Spread V12 using these steps and let us know if it resolves your installation issue.

    I have successfully installed EXE which is provided you.
    However to activate the product key which is received by your team in email,I could not able to click button after product key entered.(Red cross symbol i could see after product key).
    please help me on activate product key

    could you please clarify that is your is for Spread.Net V11 or V12 as Spread.Net v11 key won't work with Spread.Net V12 key. Please make sure you are using right keys to activate the product.

    And in case you don't have the correct keys then please contact our sales team at "us.sales@grapecity.com". They will help you in this regard.

    Hi,
    We have got licensed version of spread 12 and installed in our machine and product key activated which is working fine.
    When we try to use the spread dlls and licenses file in another(where spread is not installed) machine,it is saying license not found.
    Please help us understood why it is not working.

    Hi Lakshmi,
    The machine should be licensed to run the Spread project successfully. Hence, you should license the other machine too for running the project without any issue. It would be great if you installed spread on the machine to avoid the errors.
