    Hello,

I put a blank line down my spread to allow the user to enter a new line.

The problem is that when I make a click in the header to sort a column, the empty line can be at the top of my grid.

I would like to detect the end of the sort to remove this empty line and replace it at the bottom. Ideally, I would also like to know the beginning of sorting to delete the empty line (not to search for it after sorting). Is it possible ?

I tried the AutoSortedColumn event but it does not fire (I used : AllowAutoSort property)…

    thanks

    Hello David,

Apologies for having missed your post.

Regarding your requirement if I understand correctly, you have an empty row at the bottom and wish to always keep it there (at bottom) even upon sort.

If that is so, I would like to inform you that it’s already the default behavior. To confirm this, I’ve added a row (empty) to sheet’s Rows collection and have enabled AutoSort for a column. Now, if I click the column header, then the data gets sorted and also the empty row stays at bottom(always). See attached video.

I’m using version 12.45.20181.0, what version are you using?

    Thanks,

    Ruchir
