    When I do

then all the cells are locked by default.

But then, how can I check if a cell is indeed locked?

Checking the property 'Locked' yields a 'false' result.

The StyleName property is empty, and there are no NamedStyles in the sheet.

If I set the property 'Locked' to false, then everything seems just the same, yet now the cell is indeed unlocked.

So how to tell if a cell is locked or not?

You may use the GetCompositeInfo method to get the style information as a composite of settings for the specified cell,
column, row, or model default. The way to
check which setting of the StyleModel property a cell is using, you
can use the GetCompositeInfo method from the StyleModel.
