License cannot be confirmed. Error code: 01-001

    We are using VSTS for continuous integration build , We are getting the below error after changing the IP address of the build machine.

    Before changing the IP address we had successful build. We are getting license issue after changing the IP address of the build machine, Please guide us to resolve this issue.

    Error Message in build machine is below

    Error LC0004: Exception occurred creating type 'FarPoint.Win.Spread.FpSpread, FarPoint.Win.Spread, Version=7.20.20141.0, Culture=neutral,System.ComponentModel.LicenseException: License cannot be confirmed. Error code: 01-001

    Hey guys,

    I followed the instructions for building the license on the build server (Jenkins in my case), and my build is now working fine.

    I used to get this error:

    My Project\licenses.licx(2): error LC0004: Exception occurred creating type ‘FarPoint.Win.Spread.FpSpread, FarPoint.Win.Spread, Version=9.35.20153.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=327c3516b1b18457’ System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Value ‘0’ is not a valid value for Interval. Interval must be greater than 0. [C:\Jenkins.jenkins\workspace\Smart-LX Studio\ELXSpread\ELXSpread.vbproj]

    However, now when I attempt to run the application, I get a dialog box that suggests that there is no runtime license for the Spread.Net stuff.

    I also tried building from within VS2015, and I get the same results. I can view the spreadsheet control on my form, since I have a developer license, but the form will not display at runtime due to a license issue.

    Any suggestions???

    Another datapoint… the MSBuild works when I build under my login, does not work when Jenkins does the build.

    I installed SpreadStudio 9.x while logged in as Administrator, and previously, when logged in as my own ID (with admin rights). Works either way if I build from a CMD window, but fails if I build using Jenkins.

    I think Jenkins uses a local system account to do the build, and there must be some kind of licensing access that is problematic when building under the SYSTEM account.

    Anybody run into this?
