    I use Visual Studio 2022 17.4.4

I work in WinForm .Net6 Project

    I have installed via NugetPackage GrapeCity.Spread.WinForms 16.0.2.1018 and GrapeCity.Spread.WinForms.Design 16.0.2.1018

When i try to place the grapcecity FpSpread Control on a WinForm, I always get the following error message (see attached picture)

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hello,

It is quite strange but we do not face this issue at our end, as shown in the attached GIF. If you are doing anything else then please let us know so that we can assist you further accordingly.

If you still face the issue then let us know your OS version and locale details so that we can test it in the same environment.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.

First of all, thank you very much for the support. I do the same as in your video and unfortunately always get the error message.

FYI, if I copy a SpreadControl from an older project and then paste it into a new project where I have referenced the NuGet packages, everything works. It just does not work the new create from the toolbox.

    My working environment:

    I am working inside a VM (VM Workstation Player 17, 17.0.0 build-20800274).

In it is Windows11 in the version (22HR2 build 22621.1105)

My Visual Studio version is Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 (64-bit) - Current

    Version 17.4.4

    Thanks for your support

Here is another addendum. I think it is the SpreadDesigner. If I copy a SpreadControl from an old project, this works and I can also work with the control very well via programming. But if I want to call the designer via the context menu, here also comes an error message, see attached picture.

Strange, we have tested in your specified environment but the issue is still not replicable.

    Hello,

Apologies for the delay in the response.

As per the developers, when loading the designer from designer time, the control in the designer of spread will be applied resource with visual language. The default resource of spread created with culture is English. So It will throw an error when loaded in the German language. For now, as a workaround, you can change VS language/culture to English during working with Spread. Please see the attached screenshot for how to change the language in the VS.

As per the development team, they will fix this issue in the next hotfix release, we are getting in touch with the development team for the ETA of the next Hotfix release and will share it soon.

Please let us know if the workaround works for you.

    Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.
