Using the FormatCells Dialog Items on Alignement tab are disabled

  I am using this for using the FormatCells dialog with the
  
  …
  
  fcd = New FormatCells(wb.ActiveSheet, crCellRef, 0)
  
  fcd.showdialog()
  
  …

  The alignment tab items are always disabled and I am not sure what the cause would be.
  
  Are there some items I can look at to figure out with my sheets what would be causing that?

  Hello Kevin,

  I am unable to reproduce the issue on SpreadWinv12.45.20193.0 with the attached application. Could you please provide the own stripped-down application or modify the attached one so that I can replicate the issue at my end.

  Also, please share the exact version that you are using.

  You can duplicate this using the Spread Designer.

  1. Launch Spread Designer.
  2. Select a cell and right click
  3. Select Format Cells…
  4. On the Number Tab Select anything other than Default in the Cell type DropDown.
  5. Select the Alignment tab.
  6. Note that all items here are disabled.

  It is By-design. Because different cell types have different ways to store/manipulating those settings.
