Posted 26 May 2021, 1:16 am ESTHello,
I am trying to achieve something which I am not sure is possible. If it is, I would like to be pointed in the right direction.
Our application currently uses SpreadJs to display the spreadsheet to the user, however, we initialize the workbook with
deserializationOptions.ignoreFormula = truebecause the formula calculations are done in the backend and the affected values are sent back to the frontend and updated in SpreadJs.
With this current setup, we simply don't have access to a cell's formula.
1. Is it possible to setup the workbook so that it doesn't recalculate, but we can access a cell's formula via the workbook?
2. If not, is it possible to use the formula textbox via a formula that I fetch from the backend?
We need to have formula highlighting, which does not seem to be possible when the formulas are ignored.
