    Hi team,

We are using wijmo flexgrid to display and modify some data in a form

When we apply ja culture on flexgrid, formatted date value doesnot include Japanese charaters.

But Chinese and French cultures works as expected.

    Version using: "@grapecity/wijmo.angular2.all": "~5.20193.637"

    Please take a look

    Hi Arun,

This seems like a formatting issue rather than the culture issue. You will need to set the format of the InputDate control. Please refer to the sample below:

    https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-eiayo5

If this does not solve your issue, can you please modify the above sample so that it replicates the issue?

    Regards,
    Ashwin

    Hi Ashwin,

I tried above example, it works for yyyyMMMMdd but not for yyyyMMMdd.

We are using yyyyMMMdd and it works for most other culture we have tested. But it looks like Japanese works only with MMMM.

    Is that expected behavior?

    Regards
    Arun

    Hi Arun,

This is an expected behavior. I also tried the same with dot net and the similar behavior occurs in dot net also. It seems that the Japanese culture only displays the month name while using MMMM.

    ~regards
