    Hi,

I am trying to use Flexsheet to load an excel file, it appears showing different cell formats then open it via Excel, cell B12 shuold be a percentage and B13 should be a currency when open the file in Excel, while it shows only the numbers when I load it in your Flexsheet react demo.

These 2 cells are formula cells, attach is my test file, I am wondering if there is a way can make it exactly same behavior like in Excel?

    Cheers.

    Hi Kris,

Can you please reattach the test excel file so that we can investigate the issue? It seems that the file is not attached.

    Hi Kris,

Sorry for the delay in response.

There is some issue with your excel file which is why the formatting issue occurs in FlexSheet.

The reason is that cells B6, O15, and O16 do not store numbers, but strings, and if you open the file in an environment with a non-EN locale, the formulas in cells B12 and B13 will produce errors because of the decimal point separator.

Thanks Ashwin for the response, is there a workaround for this? for example set the default locale to EN etc.

    Hi kris,

I am attaching the updated test_xlsx file. In the cell B6, O15, and O16, I have resolved the errors by converting these cells to numbers instead of a string. Now, if you will import this file to FlexSheet, the format will be correctly displayed.
