    Hi,

I’m using version 2022v3 .NET Framework 4.8 and I have two issues with dropdown button of C1DateEdit, C1NumericEdit, C1DropDownControl:

    1. With VisualStyle=System, dropdown button is little ugly painted highlight when mouse hovering comparing to dropdown button of standard ComboBox. C1 paints unsmooth rounded corners of highlight dropdown button vs sharp corner of dropdown button of standard ComboBox.

I’ve attached a screenshot file named C1InputDropDownButtonVSComboBox.jpg that compares highlight dropdown button of C1DateEdit and standard ComboBox.
    2. My application supports DpiAwareness=PerMonitorV2 (different DPI monitors), I start my application and open a form containing C1 controls at 144-DPI monitor (150% scaling), then I drag my form to other monitor in 96-DPI (100% scaling), C1 dropdown button becomes wider, and the arrow in dropdown button (or any used ButtonImage) is scaled larger. Please see the screenshot file named C1InputDropDownButtonDPIPerMonitor.jpg.

I’ve also attached my sample application.

    Hi Ngo,

    1. Unfortunately, we could not replicate this issue on our end. we could not see any round corners in the drop-down button of C1DateEdit. (Please see monitor1.zip)

To further investigate this issue, we kindly ask that you provide us with additional information.

Please let us know your operating system version and the **version of Visual Studio **you are using to run your application. Also, have you made any modifications to the display settings on your computer? Lastly, please inform us if you are running your project on a virtual machine.

    1. We could replicate this issue on our end. Since we are unsure about the cause of this behavior, we have escalated the issue to our development team to provide us with more information on this matter [Internal Tracking ID: C1WIN-29366]

We will update you on this as soon as we hear back from them.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Aastha

    Hi Aastha,

    Thank you for your response.

    1. The information you required as below:

      Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 22H2 OS Build 22621.1105 x64.

Microsoft Visual Studio 17.5.2 .NET Framework 4.8.09032.

I’m using Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Nano with builtin LCD monitor at 2160x1350 resolution 150% DPI scale and two external monitors in the extended mode: Dell U2719D 2560x1440 at 150% DPI scale and Dell P2418HT 1920x1080 at 100% DPI scale.

No, I did not modify any special display setting and I am not running on any virtual machine.

I’ve tried to run my application at 100%, 150%, 200% DPI scale and different display resolusions and also run on some my co-workers computers but the result is the same.

I’ve attached here another screenshot of round corners in the drop-down button of C1DateEdit at DPI 100% scale.

    2. I’ll follow your updated information.

    Best regards,

    Ngo Hai

    Hi Aastha,

According to my investigation, drop-down button of C1DateEdit would display round corners as I mentioned in Windows 11.

I’ve tested by another computer running Windows 10 then C1DateEdit display perfectly as your result.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Ngo Hai

I’ve just updated C1 2023v2 (4.8.20232.611) but dropdown button still displays round corners in Windows 11 as the screenshot.
