  Hi,

  I’m trying to use the .net 6.0 C1Editor component and like to know, how the roadmap for this product looks like and when is it planned to leave the beta state.

  Issues I have with this component right now are:

  • Like to edit the source of an html code directly like before
  • Like to LoadDocument using a stream to not use a file
  • Like to LoadDocument using the HTML-code, the previous version of this control has generated
  • Like to SaveDocument using a stream too
  • Like to use SaveDocument in a deterministic way, sometimes it does not write a file, it seems as it behaves in an async way
  • Like to use KeyPress eventhandler attached to C1Editor as it seems, this one is not being fired

  So, how are your plans to develop this component to a usable state as the previous versions where?

  Do you want to load Html-code/string directly to C1Editor not as a file? If that’s so, we currently not support this feature right now. So, that we have escalated this issue to the development team as an enhancement.[Internal Tracking Id - C1WIN-29267]

  Apologize but we are unable to replicate this issue. Could you please provide a sample to replicate this issue? So, we can investigate and assist you further.

  Like to use KeyPress eventhandler attached to C1Editor as it seems, this one is not being fired.
  
  This seems like a bug, So we have escalated this issue to the development team.[Internal Tracking Id - C1WIN-29268]

  Hi,

  As per the development team, you can call DevTools from the context menu of the C1Editor. It is a powerful source editing tool.

  We will keep this request and perhaps return to it in future releases. But so far, it is not in the plans, as there is an alternative.
