InputControlHost Enhancement

    Hi All,

since I’m working with InputPanel’s ControlHost and I use a FlexGrid into a new controlhost (more efficient than the actual InputGrid) and many other ControlHosts I’ve created, an InputControlHost property such as “AutoElementWidth” and “AutoElementHeight” would be appreciated to avoid that kinda behaviour under InputPanel (or parent Component) Resize event.

I.E. the same behaviour (as a property) of the GroupHeader width (auto size).

    Thanks

I also expected the ScrollBarsVisible propery into InputPanel or the InputPanel’s ScrollableRectangle Property reduce when ScrollBar are visible, otherwise that property is really useless…

    Hi Fabio,

Unfortunately, we could not clearly understand what kind of behavior you require from the InputControlHost. Could you please let us know a little more in detail, about what functionality you require from these properties you mentioned, so we can escalate them accordingly to the development team? Also, it would be really helpful if you share a video/screenshot showing the behavior you expect.

As per our understanding of your second requirement, you want a property to determine which of the ScrollBars are currently visible in the C1InputPanel. If our understanding is not what you expect, please let us know.

    Thanks, and Best Regards,

    Kartik

    Hi Kartik,

in EVERY controlhost component, I would expect a kinda “AutoElementWidth” (boolean) property, the same U can find into InputGroupHeader (maybe a hidden property), so I can forget to resize each time the inputpanel resizes or shows the scrollbar.

That’s why InputGroupHeader doesn’t has a WIDTH property.

    Hi Fabio,

Thanks for the detailed explanation. We have escalated both of your requirements to the development team as enhancement requests. We will let you know as soon as we have an update.
