    Hello,

I’m looking for a solution that allows a filtered and sorted C1TrueDbGrid to encounter a mass edit, while retaining the current filter and sort state, without it having an impact on the edit that takes place, even if the edited value would normally trigger filter and sort to change what is displayed in the grid, until the scope of the edit session is completed.

Is there such feature in C1TrueDbGrid and if not, could this become supported?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

As per our understanding, you want to first sort and filter the Grid, then do multiple edits and during these edits, you want the edited rows to not go out-of-filter/get sorted according to their new edited value.

We have shared your requirement with the development team to see if they can suggest a way to achieve the same. We will get back to you with updates soon. If you meant something else, please let us know with a small example, so we can investigate further and assist you better.

Kartik, thanks for your feedback, you’ve understood our request right.

Our main issue right now is that during those mass edit operations, where we would like to prevent sort and filtering to be updated, the operations end up editing the wrong records.

    Hi,

As per the development team, unfortunately, C1TrueDBGrid does not support edit mode for multiple rows. It is a limitation of the current version of C1TrueDBGrid. When you edit a row, all the changes will be applied in the Grid.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you.

    Kind Regards,

    Kartik
