I have made references to the C1.WPF 4.5.2 controls in my .NET App. When I try to use a control I get a nag screen complaining that “Your trial period has expired…”. I did not place an licx file in the project. (I thought those went away with .Net 5.0.) Also, I tried generating a GCDTLicenses.xml file, but that didn’t help matters.

What steps do I need to take to get the 4.5.2 controls to work in a .NET 5 WPF app?

    Thanks

    Hi,

What license version are you currently using? If this license key was purchased post 29 July 2020, it should work as you are entitled to use the 2020 v3 release including .NET 5 controls.

However, if you have a key purchased prior to July 29, 2020, then to license your .NET 5 application, you will need a new key. Please contact our customer support team and they will generate you a new key. https://www.grapecity.com/support/contact
