  I’ve noticed an issue when using Select/Copy in a grid that has Row Details (e.g. FlexGridDetailProvider) and one or more details are open. It seems that the selection includes the “detail row” and is part of the copy operation to the clipboard. Row Details should not be part of main grid selection and copy operations. Only “primary” rows should be included. You can replicate this with the FlexGridExplorer sample project. Modify the RowDetails.xaml source file and add SelectionMode=“CellRange” to the main c1:FlexGrid element (line 21). Run the project and open one or more of the details then select the entire grid, right click and copy it to the clipboard. Paste to Excel or Notepad++ or any another application of your choosing and notice the there are blank lines where the details would be.

  Thanks for reporting this feedback. We’ll discuss with development and see if we can find a workaround, or change the default behavior.

  Hello,

  Please note, this will be fixed in the 2022 v1 release (late March/early April). RowDetails will not be included with clipboard data by default.
