Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX Extended and Enhanced by ComponentOne's Rich Control Architecture
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA - February 16, 2010 - We at ComponentOne are moving forward in developing premier tools and solutions for the latest ASP.NET Frameworks. We have developed a new Palomino Framework and moved many of our controls into it. Palomino is the power of Microsoft’s ASP.NET AJAX extended and enhanced by ComponentOne’s rich control architecture. Each control is optimized for its purpose in functionality, design, and interaction. With Palomino you can turn a normal website into a modern Web app with rich themes, blazing performance, and interactive animations.
We have supported the legacy controls (see list below) during the transition, but will be officially ending their support March 16th, 2011. On March 16th, 2010 we will stop shipping the legacy controls in our setups. However, they will still be available upon request for customers with valid licenses. Support for our legacy ASP.NET controls will officially conclude at 5:00 pm EST on March 16, 2011. ComponentOne will continue to provide the high level of technical and customer support you have come to expect for our family of products.
We highly recommend using the new controls in place of the legacy controls where applicable. They are far superior in performance, web standards, and style.
