INETA Recognizes Russ Fustino with the INETA Lifetime Achievement Award

INETA has recognized Russ Fustino as the 2012 winner of the INETA Lifetime Achievement award. At a reception held during the 2013 MVP Global Summit in Redmond, WA, Joseph Guadagno, president of INETA North America, presented Fustino with the award citing the significant contributions Fustino has made to the software development community over many years.

ComponentOne’s Developer Evangelist is Honored by the Microsoft .NET Community

PITTSBURGH, PA - February 20, 2012 - INETA, a peer-based group that supports the education and promotional efforts of the Microsoft .NET community, has recognized Russ Fustino as the 2012 winner of the INETA Lifetime Achievement award. At a reception held on February 17, 2013, during the 2013 MVP Global Summit in Redmond, WA, Joseph Guadagno, president of INETA North America, presented Fustino with the award citing the significant contributions Fustino has made to the software development community over many years.

“Russ is an outstanding individual who, year after year, has gone above and beyond to lay the foundation and provide the structure for building our community and to keep it vibrant and growing,” said Guadagno. “Russ, like past winners, is a leader and mentor; inspiring us to stretch our horizons; and helps provide us with resources along the way.” Fustino has long been a fixture in the Microsoft .NET community and in his current role as Senior Developer Evangelist at ComponentOne, a division of GrapeCity he has developed a new innovative blog and video series with industry influentials about current technologies. Fustino also travels throughout North and South America visiting User Groups, Code Camps, and tradeshows.

“I am very honored to get this award,” said Fustino. “To have my name associated alongside the prestigious list of past recipients like Scott Spradlin, Kevin Hazzard, Chris Pels, Bill Jonas, Dave Noderer, Julie Lerman, Bill Evjen, and David McCarter is really special. I am extremely honored!”

“Thanks to all of those who have connected with me in the very large, but somehow very small, developer community,” said Fustino. “Paths always cross it seems. Also, a big thanks to the great teams I have been a part of and my incredible managers.”
