Pittsburgh, PA - May 27th, 2020 GrapeCity, a global provider of award-winning enterprise software development tools, is pleased to announce ActiveReports v14.1. With this latest release, users will find .NET Core 3.1 support, metadata in PDF exports, the PageName property for Excel exports, and much more. ActiveReports v14.1 upgrades developers' design toolkit for intuitive and dynamic reports.
To take advantage of the .NET Core 3.1 support, users are encouraged to upgrade their .NET Core 2.0 or 3.0 application. As the only reporting solution that fully supports .NET Core without requiring a full framework back-end to serve reports, developers will be able to use ActiveReports v14.1 to deploy .NET Core applications to Mac and Linux systems.
By adding metadata in PDF exports, European users who follow the ZUGFeRD standard will be able to use ActiveReports when creating PDF outputs of invoices. The latest release supports the Dublin Core Metadata Initiative ( DCMI) and Adobe's PDF and XMP Core properties. The two ways to add metadata to ZUGFeRD compliant PDFs are to use the AdditionalMetaData property and attach an existing XML or TXT file. With the PageName property, report controls (such as containers and tables) can be set to the name of a sheet to house a report item.
