BASE

This function converts a number into a text representation according to specified base.

BASE(*value,base,min_len*)

This function has the following arguments:

Argument | Description |
---|---|

value |
Refers to the value that you want to convert. This value must be greater than or equal to 0 and less than 2^53 |

base |
Refers to the base that you want to convert the value into. This value must be greater than or equal to 2 and less than or equal to 36 |

min_len |
[Optional] Refers to the minimum length of the resultant string. This value must be greater than or equal to 0 and less than or equal to 255 |

This functions returns an error when the specified value in the arguments doesn't meet the minimum and maximum constraints as mentioned in the above table.

Accepts numeric data for all arguments. Returns numeric data.

BASE(9,3) gives the result 100.

BASE(8,2,1) gives the result 1000.

BASE(6,3,2) gives the result 20.

This function is available in Spread for Windows Forms 11.0 or later.
