An event represents a period of time and detailed information about something that will take place during that period of time.

Events can be added at run time by selecting the date on the calendar and then double-clicking the time slot (for Day, Week, or List view). If you are in Month view, double-click the date of the event, and check the all-day checkbox or enter a start and end time.

Once an event is added to the calendar, it can be removed, if necessary. Double-click the event and then click the Delete button.
