C1.Win.TouchToolKit Namespace / C1TouchEventProvider Class / Holding Event
Example

In This Topic
    Holding Event (C1TouchEventProvider)
    In This Topic
Occurs when an otherwise unhandled Hold interaction occurs over the hit test area of the specific control.
    Syntax
    'Declaration

Public Event Holding As EventHandler(Of HoldingEventArgs)
    public event EventHandler<HoldingEventArgs> Holding
    Event Data

The event handler receives an argument of type HoldingEventArgs containing data related to this event. The following HoldingEventArgs properties provide information specific to this event.

    PropertyDescription
Gets or sets a value that marks the routed event as handled. Setting to true prevents most handlers along the event route from handling the same event again. (Inherited from C1.Win.TouchToolKit.TouchRoutedEventArgs)
Gets the underlying HoldingState for the interaction
Gets a reference to the object that raised the event. (Inherited from C1.Win.TouchToolKit.TouchRoutedEventArgs)
Gets the PointerDeviceType for the pointer device that initiated the associated input event.
Returns the x- and y- control coordinates of the pointer position.
Gets the target control which attached to the C1TouchEventProvider. (Inherited from C1.Win.TouchToolKit.TouchRoutedEventArgs)
    Remarks

The Tapped, DoubleTapped, and RightTapped events occur only after the touch point is removed. But the Holding event occurs while the touch point is still in contact. The event occurs if the touch point remains in approximately the same position for a period of time.

This event is a routed event. If you do not want parent control receive this event, set HoldingEventArgs.Handled

    Example

The following code example shows how to use this event.
