    Hi,

I have downloaded ActiveReports Server 12 and I've tried to create a simple report linked to a data source.

First I had created the data source than a data set. in the data set I've called a stored procedure with few parameters.

After I have created them from administration page I've started the web designer to create a report.

In the report I've used the shared data set created above and setup a table to display some columns from the data set.

When I want to preview the report, the designer throw the following error:
    An error(s) occurred
    Cannot connect to data source.

I've recreated the data source and data set again but it not work.
The connection to the SQL server works and the data set return values, I have no idea how to do it to work. Can you please help me in this matter ?

    Regards,
    Andrei

    Hi,

    Thanks Mohit for your feedback.

It's seems that is the same error even if I use a query with parameters.

    Regards,
    Andrei

    Hello,

I am unable to replicate the second issue with following steps.

    1. Create a new data source with "Northwind" database
    2. Create a dataset with query "select * from customers where country=@Country"
    3.Add "Country" parameter in dataset
4.Create a report with above dataset in web designer
5.Create a table and bound with associated fields
6.Preview the report and Enter the "Germany" in parameter field

Could you please provide the steps to replicate the problem at my end.

    Thanks,
    Mohit
