An EAN-8 is an EAN/UPC symbology barcode and is derived from the longer International Article Number (EAN-13) code. EAN-8 codes are common throughout the world, companies may also use them to identify own-brand products sold only in their stores.
You can create a EAN-8 barcode using the BC_EAN8 function in a formula: =BC_EAN8(value, color, backgroudColor, showLabel, labelPosition, fontFamily, fontStyle, fontWeight, fontTextDecoration, fontTextAlign, fontSize, quietZonLeft, quietZoneRight, quietZoneTop, quietZoneBottom).
The function has the following parameters:
value: this type must be a number with length between 7 and 8.
showLabel: this value indicates whether to show the label text if the barcode has a label.
labelPosition: this value represents the label position if the label is visible.
