I need a control for active reports 12 that acts like the panel in winforms… in other words, a control I can put textboxes and/or labels on which can be made visible and invisible depending on the situation for the report. right now I have to set visible for every single control which i want to be seen or not seen- would be nice to be able to put controls on a panel and just make the panel invisible and all control are then hidden like it does in winforms…

    Just a thought.

    Hello Walter,

You can use the Container report control in Page and RDL reports to group certain controls together, as in a panel. You can learn about the same from here:

    https://help.grapecity.com/activereports/webhelp/AR12/webframe.html#Container.html

We have forwarded an enhancement request to the development team to include a Container in section reports as well [Internal Tracking ID: 268412].

    Regards,

    Esha

Thank you for the response- while that might work in the page report- i am using section reports and there is no container control for that…the container control sounds like exactly what I’m looking for!

Thank you for forwarding this to the development team- this would be VERY useful in section reports…
