  I use AR12.SectionReport.
  
  I some case i need to add controls after report starts.
  
  I this case error “Controls can’t be added or removed after report starts running” occurs in AR12 and it works in AR2 COM without problems.

  Hello Ilia,

  AR12 and AR2 Com are very different. you can’t compare both of them as they are made on different technologies. Could you please explain your requirement so that I can help you to achieve the same.

  You can also add the hidden control at the report start and make it visible on the needed pages.

  The requirement is to add ArControl after report starts running in the very difficult code (depending on the runtime parameters), that works in AR2 COM.

  There is a workaround for this, you can add the hidden control at the report start and make it visible on the needed pages. Is this acceptable to you?
