  Hi All,
  
  we recently upgraded from Active Reports 7 to Active Reports 12 ,all rdlx were running perfectly before upgrade as soon as we upgraded to active reports 12 we are facing some issues in designer.

  Attached is rdlx for referance

  Steps to follow in Active Report 7 whenever we clicked on preview tab there was not any issue
  
  but whenever we are opening the same report with active report 12 we are facing issue stating

  “Parent is only allowed if grouping has exactly one group expression”Grapecity_issue.zip

  Hello,

  If you remove the “Parent Group” from the “Detail Grouping” of “tableInvoiceDetails1” then no error occurs. Please refer to the attached image. Also, I have observed the same output at our end after removing the “Parent Group” from the table.

  Could you please confirm if the above solution is appropriate for you.

  Hello,

  Please do the following steps to make report work in AR12
  
  1: Open the report
  
  2: Remove the “Parent Group”
  
  3: Recreate group(remove and create again with the same expression)
  
  4: Preview the report

  This solution is not working on my end and would be mine pleasure if I can get updated rdlx that worked for you ??

  just an reminder if you tend to see the previous conversation that I never got an updated rdlx , so it would be gr8 that you can provide me the same i.e. an updated rdlx file along with latest changes ,so that I can pursue further
