  Hi there,

  I have to maintain a report in a legacy app and never worked before with AR.
  
  Basically I installed AR9, licensed it (Standard License) and open the report in VS2015Pro. I do see the report in design mode and I have the tools from SectionReport available within VS toolbox. But I dont have the “report designer toolbar” available. My understanding is that I need the ReportExplorer to modify my report (add another field to it). When I right-click in VS toolbar there is not “report designer toolbar” or something with a similar name available.

  What I have done so far:

  • reinstalled AR9
  • fired up VS as Admin
  • searched the WWW

  Any further suggestions or advice?

  Hello,

  You can find the “Report Explorer” in “View-> Other Windows → Report Explorer 9”.

  Could you please try after uninstalling the AR9 and install the latest version of AR9. You can find the installer at the following link:
  
  http://cdn.grapecity.com/ActiveReports/ar9/hotfixes/ActiveReports-v9.5.7812.0.msi
